The biggest losers from Gaza winning are going to be Arab Liberals and Muslims living in the West. I honestly feel sad for them as they are the least ones aware of the imminent danger heading their way. For the first time in centuries, Arab Sunni Muslims are winning wars and at the cusp of removing the West's central piece in the region. Not only that, they are doing it in alliance with Arab shiites with the backing of Iran.
Because of the battle noise, Arab Liberals and Muslims in the West and Western public think Hamas is losing and its the end for Pal. Hence, the conversation focused on whining and moaning the supposed loss. However, all this will change once Pal victory becomes clearer. What do you think the Western elite reaction is going to be to this civilisational loss? They are going to flip on the social contract that allowed Arab Liberals and Muslims to live in the west for the past few decades. It is already happening. Republicans in the US and conservatives in the UK are preparing their public for this. Once Isrselle loss becomes known officially, the attack will begin on these minorities. Deporting and asset seizures will become a popular demand. As the west crises deepens, they will direct public anger at Muslims and use Pal victory to mobilise for war aided by Isrselle far right and accusations of backing terrorism.
Arab Liberals and Muslims in the West should take this threat extremely seriously. The incoming threat is not going to be coming from societal fringes in the West, it is going to be the mainstream. As I have been saying since the beginning of the war, it is going to take a decade for people to mentally accept that Isrselle lost and Pal won. I worry though by that time it will be too late to act.
Ya I honestly have had this thought for a while, I think it will happen much slower than we expect tho so like maybe til the end of the decade ish for Europeans and for North Americans a bit longer . But tbh I’m speaking as a Canadian Muslim, I had a thought in November that liberation for the oppressed is much more meaningful than having a comfortable life in a place where u are always a guest. That’s ok, that’s a worthwhile trade and inshallah we will all be better for it too.
Although one thing is, how would they accommodate for labour shortages etc. I have no idea and with climate crisis and refugees Europe is in for a real doozy.
